Maintain your physical condition

  I suggest to maintain a healthy body weight of enough muscle mass and a good endurance to optimize the skills we will cover. If you can not climb a ladder without having to swoon, you will be defenseless in a scuffle, whether armed or unarmed.

Life and stress can make it hard for you to start some kind of an exercise but you can do it. Go to the park and walk. Do simple exercises like push-ups and sit-ups. In a while you can join a gym. Try for at least 40 to 50 minutes of intense exercise 3 to 4 times a week. The ideal form of exercise is the combination of calisthenics with a form of aerobic exercise that will simulates a fight with one or two opponents.

Συναυλία ή άλλη εκδήλωση με πλήθος: Τι πρέπει να ξέρετε ακόμη κι αν δεχθείτε τρομοκρατική επίθεση;

Είστε έτοιμοι να παρακολουθήσετε την αγαπημένη σας συναυλία και σε καμία περίπτωση δεν θέλετε κάτι να σας χαλάσει τη διάθεση.

-Ο πρωταρχικός σκοπός σας δεν πρέπει να είναι η κατάληψη της πρώτης θέσης σε μια εκδήλωση. Το να βρίσκεστε σε απόσταση αναπνοής από τον αγαπημένο σας τραγουδιστή ακούγεται τέλειο, είναι όμως και το λιγότερο ασφαλές, διότι οι θέσεις  αυτές έχουν δύσκολη πρόσβαση στην έξοδο και μπορεί να εγκλωβιστείτε εύκολα. Κι αυτό δεν αφορά μόνο μια τρομοκρατική επίθεση, αλλά και ένα μεγάλο σεισμό ή ένα βραχυκύκλωμα το οποίο προκάλεσε πυρκαγιά. 

-Σε οδικές τρομοκρατικές επιθέσεις, εκείνοι που βρίσκονται στο δρόμο είναι οι πιο ευάλωτοι.

Επιλέξτε την τοποθεσία σας με βάση την ασφάλεια, όχι απλά την θέα.

-Αποφύγετε το κέντρο όπου συσσωρεύονται πολλά άτομα ή τα πιο πυκνά μέρη του πλήθους. Προσπαθήστε να μείνετε στο περιθώριο για να έχετε περισσότερες επιλογές α μετακινηθείτε προς την έξοδο ή σε ασφαλές μέρος. 

-Μείνετε κοντά στις γωνίες του δρόμου και όχι στη μέση του τετραγώνου. Αυτό θα σας προσφέρει περισσότερες διεξόδους διαφυγής.

-Μην στέκεστε δίπλα σε τοίχους, πόρτες κλειστές (όχι εξόδους) ή άλλα εμπόδια που θα σας δυσκολέψουν να απομακρυνθείτε. 

-Αποφύγετε να στέκεστε πάνω, κάτω ή γύρω από προσωρινές κατασκευές όπως σκηνές ή πλατφόρμες προβολής. Εάν χτυπηθούν από ένα εχθρικό όχημα θα καταρρεύσουν, οι άνθρωποι και τα αντικείμενα που θα πέσουν από τη σκηνή, αντιπροσωπεύουν άλλη μια πηγή κινδύνου.

-Μόνο σε περίπτωση επίθεσης οχήματος, πυροβολισμών ή ανταλλαγών πυροβολισμών, τότε μείνετε πίσω από βαριά εμπόδια ασφαλείας καθώς αυτά μπορούν να παρέχουν καλή κάλυψη και απόκρυψη.

-Αναζητήστε μέρη για κάλυψη και απόκρυψη, όπως τοίχους από σκυρόδεμα ή μεγάλα δέντρα.

-Αν βρίσκεστε σε δρόμο, ψάξτε για καταφύγια, όπως ανοιχτά καταστήματα ή σοκάκια, στα οποία μπορείτε να πάτε, για να προφυλαχθείτε από ένα εχθρικό αυτοκίνητο ή ένα ξέφρενο πλήθος. Προσοχή, το πλήθος σε πανικό  γίνεται φονικό όπλο. 

-Δώστε προσοχή στους δρόμους για κάθε όχημα που κινείται ακανόνιστα ή αποκλίνει από το κανονικό σχέδιο κυκλοφορίας.  Αν ένα ακανόνιστα κινούμενο όχημα φτάνει σε εσάς ή το πλήθος, μην τρέχετε μόνο από φόβο, χωρίς να ξέρετε που πάτε, εντοπίστε την κατεύθυνση ή το σημείο, το οποίο μπορεί να σας προφυλάξει. 

-Το πρώτο που πρέπει να κάνετε, εφόσον θέλετε να βρεθείτε σε μια συναυλία ή σε έναν ποδοσφαιρικό αγώνα ή σε μια συγκέντρωση με πολύ κόσμο σε εξωτερικό χώρο, σε κάθε περίπτωση, θα έχετε σχέδιο διαφυγής, ιδίως αν είστε με παιδιά.

Ακόμη και η ελάχιστη σωματική δραστηριότητα προλαμβάνει το μεταβολικό σύνδρομο
Calisthenics! Η μοναδική μέθοδος γυμναστικής η οποία υπόσχεται γρήγορα αποτελέσματα και κυρίως μηδενίζει τις πιθανότητες τραυματισμού. 

Έστω και μία ώρα σωματικής δραστηριότητας με ασκήσεις αντιστάσεων την εβδομάδα, μειώνει τον κίνδυνο εμφάνισης μεταβολικού συνδρόμου, μιας διαταραχής που περιλαμβάνει πολλαπλούς παράγοντες καρδιαγγειακού κινδύνου, όπως το αυξημένο σωματικό βάρος, η υπέρταση και τα αυξημένα επίπεδα γλυκόζης.

 

Αυτό δείχνει νέα μελέτη, που δημοσιεύεται στην επιθεώρηση Mayo Clinic Proceedings. Για τους σκοπούς της μελέτης, οι ερευνητές χρησιμοποίησαν δεδομένα από 7.418 γυναίκες και άνδρες μέσης ηλικίας, οι οποίοι επισκέφθηκαν νοσοκομείο των ΗΠΑ για προληπτικές εξετάσεις κατά το διάστημα 1987-2006. Στην αρχική αξιολόγηση, όλοι οι εθελοντές ήταν υγιείς.

 

Συνολικά, το 15% των συμμετεχόντων εμφάνισε μεταβολικό σύνδρομο. Αναφορικά με τα επίπεδα σωματικής δραστηριότητας, βρέθηκε πως όσοι πραγματοποιούσαν τουλάχιστον 2-3 προπονήσεις με ασκήσεις calisthenics ανά εβδομάδα, είχαν 17% χαμηλότερη πιθανότητα εμφάνισης του συνδρόμου.

 

Επιπλέον, η ενασχόληση με ασκήσεις calisthenics για μία ώρα ανά εβδομάδα, φάνηκε να συνδέεται με 29% χαμηλότερο κίνδυνο εμφάνισης του συνδρόμου. Τέλος, οι συμμετέχοντες που έπιαναν τις συστάσεις τόσο για τις ασκήσεις calisthenics βρέθηκαν να έχουν 25% μικρότερη πιθανότητα εμφάνισης μεταβολικού συνδρόμου.

 

Όπως αναφέρει η επικεφαλής της ερευνητικής ομάδας, πρόκειται για μία από τις πρώτες μελέτες που αναδεικνύουν τα οφέλη της προπόνησης με ασκήσεις calisthenics, όσον αφορά στο μεταβολικό σύνδρομο.
