LARRY ALERT OUTDOOR SECURITY SYSTEM

Using a simple three-step process Larry Alert will keep an eye on your work truck, camping gear, beach belongings, etc. thanks to its special radar movement sensing technology. What does the mean exactly? Well, Larry Alert will sets up to a 15×20 ft grid to watch over, and will notify you the moment it detects any movement within that established area. It connects directly to your smartphone, lets off a siren along with a voice speaker system, sends an alert to the connected smartphone, and captures an image of the intruder. It’s also weather resistant, runs off a rechargeable lithium battery for 8 hours of continuous use and can attach to just about any surface thanks to a suction cup mount and Velcro strap tie

GERBER GDC ZIP BLADE

One of the smallest functional folding knives. The Gerber GDC Zip Blade measures up at an astonishing 1.7 inches when closed, but the blade only extends another 0.68 inches further when deployed. Yet it still has a sturdy and reliable frame lock to keep it secure during use.Our favorite part, however, has to be the quick-release that allows you to easily and expediently detach the blade from your keys or jacket or everyday backpack, use it, and reattach it in a snap.

Slash Resistant Clothing

Following a spate of violent knife attacks  protective-apparel firm PPSS Group has developed a range of slash-resistant clothing. The sweatshirts, windbreakers, sleeves, and gloves all comprise Cut-Tex Pro, a proprietary high-density polyethylene that shields the four major arteries against lacerations and subsequent blood loss. The material is also 100 percent concealable, blending in with regular clothing to deflect attention.

PUB, CARBON FIBER

The new Kershaw Pub looks like nothing you’ve ever seen.Closed, you’d never know there was a handy blade inside—although you would definitely see the equally handy bottle opener. And if you were exceptionally sharp-eyed, you might notice the slotted screwdriver tip right next to the bottle opener. To reveal the blade, just push down on what looks like the key ring attachment. You’ll see the blade move out of the compact handle. Keep pushing and the blade will swing all the way out, ready for use. The blade is a modified sheepsfoot with a straight edge and clipped rather than rounded tip.The handle has carbon fiber front scale and a steel back. When open, the handle is large enough for a comfortable grip on this slip-joint-style knife. When closed, the Pub is less than 3 inches long, but with a one-inch key chain attachment, making it easy to slip onto even a crowded key ring. Strong detent keeps the Pub closed until you open it.
