Stun Guns

Stun guns do require you to make actual physical contact with an assailant. It must be brought into contact with the assailant's body to exert its effect. Τhis is a very up-front and personal confrontation and you will have very little time to draw and implement the weapon. It's best if you have it in your hand already from a reaction standpoint, though this may make your assailants aware of the device before they assault you as well.
Thick clothing can lessen the effect of the stun gun on an assailant, so winter-time in certain regions may make this a less desirable weapon than others.

What is Krav Maga?
