STAY SAFE: 5 βασικοί κανόνες που πρέπει να ακολουθήσουν τα παιδιά, όταν χαθούν

Η αρπαγή του παιδιού είναι ο μεγαλύτερος φόβος κάθε γονέα, αυτό όμως στο οποίο έχουν μεγάλη ευθύνη όσοι μεγαλώνουν παιδιά είναι η εκπαίδευση και η αντιμετώπιση των παιδιών τους σε καθημερινές απειλές και κινδύνους.

Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη ότι 7 στα 10 παιδιά χάνονται – εξαφανίζονται – ξεχνιούνται, καθημερινά, τότε οι γονείς οφείλουν να τα έχουν καθοδηγήσει σωστά για να μπορέσουν να τα εντοπίσουν άμεσα!

 

Πόσοι από εσάς έχετε μιλήσει στα παιδιά για την ασφάλεια τους; Στα παιδιά μαθαίνουμε να αντιδρούν ανάλογα από πολύ μικρή ηλικία.

 

Τα μωρά αποτυπώνουν εικόνες και ήχους. Επιδιώκουμε στην πόρτα του ψυγείου, να αφαιρέσουμε τηλέφωνα τα οποία έχουν σχέση με fast food και να τα αντικαταστήσουμε με την παρακάτω εικόνα: Τα παιδιά μαθαίνουν από μικρή ηλικία 2,5 και άνω να χρησιμοποιούν την συσκευή τηλεφώνου. Αποθηκεύστε στους αριθμούς τα τηλέφωνα άμεσης βοήθειας και προσθέστε το κινητό σας. Στον πίνακα  της φωτογραφίας, μαθαίνετε στα παιδιά σας ότι ο αριθμός για την αστυνομία (Άμεση Δράση) είναι το 100, για την Πυροσβεστική το 199, για το ασθενοφόρο το 166, μαθαίνουν τον αριθμό του κινητού σας και στην τελευταία λίστα, προσθέστε εσείς όποια τηλέφωνα κρίνετε απαραίτητα π.χ., συγγενών (γιαγιά – παππούς όπου φυλάνε το παιδί), του παιδικού σταθμού, σχολείου κ.α.

 

Πολλές φορές παιδιά 3 ετών και άνω έχουν καλέσει τους αριθμούς άμεσης ανάγκης και έχουν σώσει ή βοηθήσει τους ενήλικες που τα κρατούσαν στο σπίτι. (θα αναφερθώ στην περίπτωση γιαγιά που πρόσεχε την 3χρονη εγγονή της και έχασε τις αισθήσεις από καρδιακό επεισόδιο. Τότε η μικρή εγγονή πάτησε το 1 στη συσκευή τηλεφώνου (όπου ήταν αποθηκευμένος αριθμός στο κινητό τηλ της μαμάς της) και αμέσως ενημέρωσε για το τι συνέβη στην γιαγιά της. Το αναφέρω αυτό για να μην υποτιμάτε τις ικανότητες των παιδιών σας.   Τι πρέπει να ξέρει το παιδί  σε περίπτωση που χαθεί:

1.Να γνωρίζει το ονοματεπώνυμο και των δύο γονέων και ένα αριθμό κινητού τηλεφώνου. Παιδιά κάτω των 3 ετών αποκαλούν τους γονείς τους μαμά και μπαμπά ακόμα κι όταν ερωτηθούν «Πώς λένε τους γονείς σου;» 

*Τα μωρά έως 3 ετών και τα νήπια αποστηθίζουν καλύτερα τις μελωδίες και τα τραγουδάκια. Κάνετε λοιπόν τον αριθμό του τηλεφώνου σας εύκολη υπόθεση για εκείνα. Μάθετε τους να το τραγουδάνε. Ένας άλλος τρόπος είναι να το κάνετε λογοπαίγνιο, επίσης βοηθάει στην απομνημόνευση του τηλεφώνου. 

2.Δεν απομακρύνεται από τον γονέα ή όποιον το συνοδεύει. Μένει ασφαλής κοντά στον ενήλικα. Είναι σημαντικό να κάνετε το παιδί να καταλάβει ότι δεν είναι παιχνίδι αλλά υπευθυνότητα. Μάθετε να έχει κι εκείνο, στο οπτικό του πεδίο τον άνθρωπο που είναι μαζί του. Αν μπορείτε να το δείτε ή να τα δείτε (αν είναι περισσότερα από ένα) τότε επιβεβαιώστε ότι σας βλέπει-ουν.

*Όταν κοιτάτε το παιδί και βρίσκεται μακρύτερα από όσο ελέγχεται, τότε σηκώστε το χέρι και μάθετε το να κάνει το ίδιο. Θα παρέμβετε αμέσως αν δείτε ότι δεν επιστρέφει κοντά. Είναι σημαντικό να διδάξετε στο παιδί τα όρια ασφαλείας. Όπως λέω κι εγώ στους ενήλικες μαθητές μου στην αυτοάμυνα Raptor krav maga, ορίστε κόκκινες και πράσινες γραμμές (γραμμές ασφαλείας). 3. Αν χαθεί σταματάει εκεί που βρίσκεται και φωνάζει. Πρώτα μαμά ή μπαμπά (θεία, γιαγιά κλπ). Φωνάζει το όνομα του ενήλικα που το συνοδεύει (π.χ. ΜΑΜΑ ΑΝΝΑ, ΜΠΑΜΠΑ ΓΙΩΡΓΟ)

*Σημαντικό είναι τα παιδιά να σταματήσουν στο σημείο που βρίσκονται γιατί αν μετακινηθούν θα δυσκολέψουν την εύρεση τους. Επίσης, μάθετε στα παιδιά σας να φωνάζουν με όλη την δύναμη τους ξανά και ξανά. 

4. Ψάχνει για μια άλλη μαμά με παιδιά.  Πρώτα φωνάζει και ενώ το κάνει αυτό, αν δεν βρει την μαμά-μπαμπά κλπ, τότε κοιτάζει από το σημείο το οποίο βρίσκεται για άλλη μαμά με παιδιά. Αν χαθεί σε πολυκατάστημα τότε απευθύνεται στους ταμίες, λέγοντας το ονοματεπώνυμο της μαμάς ή του ενήλικα που το συνοδεύει. 

*Διδάξτε στα παιδιά σας, να αποφεύγουν ενήλικες χωρίς παιδιά και να προτιμούν άλλες μαμάδες με παιδιά και όχι μπαμπάδες με παιδιά, διότι σύμφωνα με τους παγκόσμιους κανόνες για την ασφάλεια των παιδιών, στατιστικά η μητέρα με παιδιά είναι και η ασφαλέστερη επιλογή. 

 5. Να μην απομακρυνθεί από το σημείο που χάθηκε και να μην κρυφτεί. Δεν πρέπει να αρχίσει να ψάχνει γιατί είναι σίγουρο ότι θα δυσκολέψει την κατάσταση. Αν το παιδί γνωρίζει από πριν τι πρέπει να κάνει, έχει λιγότερες πιθανότητες να το κυριεύσει ο φόβος και να κρυφτεί κάπου. Αυτό είναι αρκετά επικίνδυνο γιατί έτσι χάνεται πολύτιμος χρόνος για τους γονείς που ψάχνουν γι αυτό. 

 

*Είναι σημαντικό να εκπαιδεύσετε τα παιδιά χωρίς να τα τρομάζετε. Να τους λέτε ότι είναι επικίνδυνο να απομακρύνονται από κοντά σας, αλλά να αποφεύγετε εκφράσεις: (π.χ. Αν χαθείς θα έρθει ο μπαμπούλας να σε φάει) 

 

Σε περίπτωση που χαθεί το παιδί σας και το βρείτε ή σας βρει, η αντίδραση σας δεν πρέπει να είναι αρνητική. Δεν φωνάζετε, δεν του επιρρίπτεται ευθύνες, δεν το μαλώνετε, δεν το τιμωρείται. 

 

Αν από μικρά τα μεγαλώσετε τους παραπάνω κανόνες ασφαλείας τότε να ξέρετε ότι είναι ελάχιστες οι πιθανότητες να χαθούν.

Pictured are two dirt simple improvised ‘zip guns’ seized by police which were the subject of an officer safety notice. The weapons have been constructed by screwing together standard pipe fittings which can be obtained for a total of around $5 at any local hardware store. Each gun consists of a length of copper pipe threaded on both ends, a brass hose nipple (which functions as a barrel), a length of wire rope attached to a makeshift firing pin, a compression spring, an end cap drilled in the center and a ring which serves as a charging handle for the striker assembly.To fire the weapon a .22 round is inserted into the brass hose fitting which is then screwed onto the copper pipe. When ready to fire, the ring is pulled to the rear which compresses the spring against the striker. Releasing the pull ring drives the striker forward, striking the rim of the cartridge and firing the bullet out of the tiny barrel. Small caliber firearms using the same striker mechanism have in the past even been seen skillfully machined to resemble large diameter bolts with this in mind.
