Στην κεντρική πλατεία της γερμανικής πόλης! - Ψάχνουν 1.000 άντρες «αραβικής ή βορειοαφρικανικής καταγωγής» - «Σοκαρισμένη» δηλώνει η Μέρκελ - Συγκλονιστικές μαρτυρίες

Σύμφωνα με καταγγελίες, που επιβεβαιώνει η γερμανική αστυνομία, την παραμονή της Πρωτοχρονιάς περίπου 1.000 άντρες επιτέθηκαν σεξουαλικά σε δεκάδες γυναίκες, στην κεντρική πλατεία της γερμανικής πόλης, ενώ μια γυναίκα δήλωσε στις αρχές ότι έπεσε θύμα βιασμού!

Ο αρχηγός της αστυνομίας της Κολωνίας είπε σε γερμανικά ΜΜΕ πως αυτόπτες μάρτυρες ανέφεραν ότι οι επιθέσεις έγιναν από ομάδες μεταξύ 1.000 περίπου αντρών «η εμφάνιση των οποίων έδειχνε πως είχαν αραβική ή βορειοαφρικανική καταγωγή». Το πλήθος των αντρών αυτών φέρεται να είχε συγκεντρωθεί στην πλατεία της πόλης της Κολωνίας, ανάμεσα από τον κεντρικό σιδηροδρομικό της σταθμό και τον καθεδρικό της ναό. Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες οι δράστες ήταν ηλικίας 15 έως 35 ετών -και πιθανότατα βρίσκονταν υπό την επήρεια αλκοόλ- «πλημμύρισαν» ξαφνικά το κέντρο της πόλης και άρχισαν αρχικά να ρίχνουν πυροτεχνήματα. Κατόπιν χωρίστηκαν σε μικρότερες ομάδες και άρχισαν να παρενοχλούν γυναίκες, με τις μαρτυρίες να καταδεικνύουν μια πραγματικά πρωτόγνωρη για ευρωπαϊκή πόλη κατάσταση.

Η 27χρονη Άννε, που γιόρταζε με φίλους την Πρωτοχρονιά στην Κολωνία, ανέφερε στην εφημερίδα Kölner Stadt Anzeiger: «Η πλατεία ήταν γεμάτη με άνδρες. Μόνο σποραδικά έβλεπε κανείς κάποιες φοβισμένες γυναίκες. Δεν μπορώ καν να περιγράψω την κατάσταση, απλά αισθανόμουν πολύ άβολα», λέει χαρακτηριστικά. Όπως περιγράφει, στη συνέχεια η κατάσταση παρεκτράπη, όταν άγνωστος την πλησίασε και άρχισε να την παρενοχλεί σεξουαλικά. Είναι ένα μόνο από τα περιστατικά που καταγράφηκαν το βράδυ.

Ένας άντρας που μίλησε στο BBC περιέγραψε πώς μια ομάδα αντρών επιτέθηκε στην σύντροφο και στην 15χρονη κόρη του:

 «Τις άγγιζαν στο στήθος και ανάμεσα στα πόδια»! 
Μια άλλη βρετανίδα είπε ότι της επιτέθηκαν άντρες που δεν μιλούσαν ούτε αγγλικά ούτε γερμανικά:

 «Προσπαθούσαν να μας αγκαλιάσουν και να μας φιλήσουν και ένας έκλεψε την τσάντα της φίλης μου.

Ένας ήθελε να μας βάλει στο ιδιωτικό του ταξί. Δεν έχω ξαναζήσει ποτέ κάτι τέτοιο»!
